I use Flickr every day. For those who don’t know, Flickr is a very nice photo sharing website. You can upload your photos, and decide to share them or not with everybody.
It is very interesting for a beginner photographer like me to share photos and to get the feedback from the community. So yes, I am a beginner, though, my photos can be useful and I can be rewarded! Not by money, but by something more delighting for a beginner: good feedback from the community.
Here are my examples:
- I shot a picture in a London museum and it was used by a journalist to illustrate his article!
The photo you can see on the right was used by the website NowPublic in a article talking about a doggy paddling dino that was discovered.
- Then another day I shot a picture in a London art exhibition and it was used on Chicago Artists Resource website homepage and newsletter for the month of July! I was contacted by the manager in order to let them use my photo, as a reward they put a link to my website on their homepage.

So, Flickr is incredible because it is not just a photo sharing website, it is a community and window for your photography passion. The more you give, the more you receive back from other users!
